District launches public data dashboard; counselors report measurable gains after five‑year PD

Implementation and sustainment: the district plans to finalize aligned job descriptions for counseling roles, pursue RAMP recognition for qualified sites, and transition to virtual consultation for sustainability after the five‑year contract ends. Staff said the teacher/administrator dashboards and student‑level ‘active student’ views are being piloted to enable timely interventions for attendance, behavior and academic risk.
What trustees asked: trustees asked how to interpret college‑going and graduation measures and whether the dashboard percentages represent eventual college graduation or college enrollment; staff explained the chart tracks college graduation as measured by National Student Clearinghouse data for a given high‑school cohort and can be filtered by school and subgroup. Trustees requested additional cross‑tab analyses (e.g., prior CASP achievement vs. later outcomes) and more training for staff and board members to use the dashboard.
