Several DuPage County zoning petitions continued to June 3
Summary
At the May 6 hearing the zoning hearing officer continued at least two petitions (Z2612 and 26010) to the June 3 hearing to allow petitioners time to provide additional information or modify plans.
Robert Carthol, the DuPage County zoning hearing officer, announced on May 6 that multiple petitioners requested continuances. Case Z2612 (request to allow a new detached garage forward of a house front wall) was continued because the health department had new information and at the petitioner’s request; the hearing was rescheduled for June 3 at 2:30 p.m. Case 26010 (a request to reduce an interior side setback for a new detached accessory building) was continued to the June 3 hearing to permit plan modifications.
Carthol instructed petitioners to prepare any necessary plans and correspondence for the June session and noted that virtual participation via Zoom remained an option for those wishing to make statements.
