Brownley said two superintendents from her legislative district were named by Education Insider magazine among "America's top 15" superintendents and singled out Mike Broadwater for his leadership. "Your leadership, guidance, and diligence have greatly shaped the direction of the Loveland City School District," she said as she presented the citation from the Ohio House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly.
Broadwater thanked the representative and acknowledged the district's community partners, staff and board members. He then proceeded with his superintendent's report, detailing spring athletic and fine‑arts signing days, two students who made armed forces commitments and the district's unified track meet.
The board welcomed the presentation and took a photo with the representative. No formal action was required for the citation; the visit was followed by routine business for the work session.
