The office said it is not city‑funded but supports city revenue flows and that its principal near‑term need is IT support to complete migration into the city’s new permit and payment platforms (STLcity permits, CityWorks and integrated pay systems). The License Collector said the office plans to hire an in‑house IT consultant to coordinate integrations and to ensure the fee systems remain reliable during the transition.
What’s next: the License Collector expects to continue normal licensing operations during the migration and will deliver regular revenue reports to the Controller’s office as required. Committee members thanked the office for its efficiency and community outreach work.
