St. Charles Parish Public Schools leaders thank employees as school year ends

Leaders for St. Charles Parish Public Schools thanked employees across roles Friday, praising bus drivers, cafeteria workers, counselors, nurses and teachers for their work over the school year and urging staff to enjoy the summer break.

The remarks highlighted the district’s emphasis on belonging and team effort. A presenter said staff made students and colleagues "smile," calling support staff "unsung heroes" and noting the systemwide teamwork that keeps schools running.

"Thank you for showing up. Thank you for choosing every day to show up with a smile on your face," one presenter said, adding that staff interactions give students "the very best chance at their future." Another speaker told employees, "Enjoy your summer. Enjoy this week. You deserve it."

Speakers repeatedly linked employee performance to student outcomes, thanking staff "on behalf of St. Charles Parish Public Schools" and saying employees’ daily actions "directly contribute to our success" and to students graduating.
