Board approves personnel recommendations in executive session and confirms committee liaisons

The board went into executive session to discuss employment items listed on Exhibit A and the superintendent evaluation under Oklahoma Statute 25 §307(B)(1) and (7). The executive session convened at approximately 7:15 p.m. and the board returned to open session at about 8:17 p.m.; the meeting minutes specified attendees and said no votes were taken while in executive session.
After returning to open session the board voted to approve the appointments, resignations and employment recommendations listed on Exhibit A; the motion passed on a recorded unanimous vote. The board also discussed committee organization and authorized Board President Dr. Gay Washington to assign members to committees. The board noted appointments including Dr. Marshall Baker as OSSBA legislative liaison and Dr. Clyde Wilson and Rachel Dylan to the policy review committee; several other committees will be convened on a pop‑up basis to avoid duplication with existing staff or districtwide committees.
The board recorded the executive session minutes and followed with approval of the personnel actions.
