The Greensburg Community Schools Board approved a slate of personnel actions, reappointments and the disposal of an older school bus.
Superintendent presented resignations, a leave request, a retirement and a termination: Jennifer Van Bulkenburg requested leave, Sherry Dunn will retire at the end of the 2025–26 school year, and Justina Sailor was terminated from an elementary cafeteria position. The board approved those personnel items by voice vote.
The board also approved multiple appointments: Laura Wells as high‑school assistant track coach; Jason Glenn for the 2026–27 school year as business/computer science teacher (described by the superintendent as “a huge catch”); a slate of varsity and junior‑high coaching appointments and support staff hires, including Colton Burnham as a high‑school cafeteria employee and Stacy Reynolds as a Greensburg Community Schools custodian. The board approved the slate.
The board authorized disposal of a 2011 IC/CE school bus (15 years old) because it requires work the district does not wish to fund; the motion passed with Mr. Randolph recorded as abstaining. The board also approved appointment of John Dooley to the Greensburg Redevelopment Board to replace Mark Bauer and reappointed Erica Haston to the Decatur County Greensburg Library Board through 2030. The board approved JAG college visits to the greater Cincinnati area for student trips that require out‑of‑state approval.
