Titus said the corridor will connect Chamberlain Road to Horizon South Parkway and include a roundabout and a roughly 500-foot bridge crossing a creek; staff noted the bridge work will be on the project's critical path. "We still have the overall design intent the same…we've negotiated with them… $14,991,882," he said.
Committee members described the project as likely to relieve traffic across multiple nearby roadways and moved the item to consent for approval. Staff said construction timing is weather-dependent and estimated completion in late 2028 to early 2029.
