The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Office of Coast Survey will conduct mapping of the navigable waters of Huspa Creek at Page Point Boat Landing this week to update nautical charts, the broadcast said.
Officials noted the boat landing will remain open during the research but warned that visitors and boaters should be careful around survey equipment, vehicles, trailers and the NOAA survey vessel while the work is underway. The broadcast directed listeners to the county press release for more information.
No closures or enforcement actions were announced in the segment; the emphasis was on safety and chart updates to benefit the local boating community.
