The Harrison Planning Commission approved a permit for a full-service salon with accompanying boutique space at 116 South State Street.
Applicants Jason and Alli Nagel said the business will offer salon services with about four to six booth renters alongside boutique retail. Staff reported the site is permitted for hair salons and retail products under Section 1143 of the Harrison zoning regulations and recommended standard conditions: residential-style waste containers, review/approval for any future dumpster, and permits required for any interior/exterior improvements, landscaping, lighting or signage.
Commissioners asked no substantive follow-up questions before moving and seconding to approve with the staff-recommended conditions. The motion passed unanimously.
