North Olmsted Council approves vehicles, ambulance, cameras and Bay Village dispatch agreement

All roll call votes for the adopted items were unanimous among present Council members (7–0); Council President Brossard was recorded absent for tonight’s meeting. Motions to suspend the three‑reading requirement were used for items the Council judged time‑sensitive, including the Bay Village dispatch agreement and a NOACA grant application (Resolution 2025‑101), which the Council also adopted to allow staff to apply for Transportation for Livable Communities Initiative funds.
Implications and next steps: procurement actions will be routed through Finance for contract execution. Police and Fire leadership will coordinate vehicle and ambulance acceptance and placement on fleet schedules. The Bay Village interlocal agreement requires the administration to finalize contract details and coordinate a prorated dispatch start date requested by Bay Village.
