Cumberland County commissioners approve consent agenda and $35.3 million temporary appropriation

By voice and roll-call votes, commissioners adopted resolutions 2026-166 through 2026-184 by consent. The board then passed Resolution 2026-185, authorizing additional temporary budget appropriations in the amount of $35,314,945.
Chair calls and roll-call responses recorded Commissioner Capizola, Commissioner Garcia Balicki, Commissioner Aucena, Commissioner Sorrow, Commissioner Romero, Deputy Director Marchand and Director Taylor voting in favor of motions on consent and the budget appropriation.

County of Cumberland case (docket CUNL-114-26); - Resolution 2026-196: amendment to the Global Tel Link agreement for jail video visitation service and maintenance; - Resolution 2026-198: an amendment approving a State Fiscal Year 2025 grant (Alternative Response model) totaling $49,924.08; - Resolution 2026-199: awarding lease contracts for county-owned farmland near Cumberland Manor; - Resolution 2026-200: application to the New Jersey Department of Health for a mini-grant under the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program; - Resolution 2026-201: authorizing assignment of contract negotiations for UAW Local 2327; - Resolution 2026-202: authorization of a NJDEP Green Streets and Stormwater Infrastructure Mapping 2025 grant agreement; - Resolutions renewing shared services with the Cumberland County Improvement Authority and with Salem County for mobile traffic-signal use.
A motion to accept the treasurer's report and motions to authorize payment of all salaries and wages were also approved by voice vote.
