The Lawrence Economic Development Commission elected Greg Goodnight president, Stephanie Kirkland vice president and Ray Anderson secretary during its meeting Monday, April 6, which convened at 5:00 p.m.
The uncontested nominations moved quickly. Goodnight was nominated and seconded and commissioners voiced their assent; Stephanie Kirkland and Ray Anderson were similarly nominated, seconded and approved for vice president and secretary, respectively. The commission congratulated the new officers before proceeding to new business.
The votes were taken by voice during the organizational portion of the meeting; individual roll-call votes were not recorded on the audio transcript. The commission then opened a public hearing on a separate agenda item concerning the Rebar/TRG mixed-use development in the Fort Harrison reuse area.
The meeting adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
