The Plan and Design Commission on April 7, 2026 agreed to continue public hearing PUB 20250081, a request for a special‑use permit in the nature of a planned development with code modifications and a replat with variances at 147 Central Avenue, to the Commission’s next regular meeting on April 21.
Staff asked for the continuance so the Historic Preservation Commission, scheduled to meet April 15, can complete its recommendation; staff said historic‑preservation liaison Maddie Markle will present the Historic Preservation Commission’s recommendation to the PDC on April 21. The Commission moved and seconded the continuance and approved it by voice vote; staff said no additional notice is required for the new date.
The continuance keeps the item on the PDC’s April 21 agenda so the record will include the Historic Preservation Commission’s recommendation when the PDC considers the planned development.
