The Cochise County Flood Control District convened March 24 in the supervisors' hearing room and approved consent agenda items one and two by a 3-0 vote.
The chair opened the meeting, noted the possibility of agenda modification and that members and the public could participate remotely via Microsoft Teams or the mobile app, and outlined the public comment sign-up deadline of 9:00 a.m. on the day of the meeting. During roll call, Supervisor Crosby (District One), Supervisor Gomez (District Two) and the supervisor for District Three were recorded present in person.
With no members of the public requesting to speak, the chair asked for a motion on the consent agenda. "Uh yes, chairman. And I move that we approve consent items one and two," said a supervisor, and another supervisor seconded the motion. The board then voted, with all three supervisors voting in favor. The chair announced, "Motion carries. Three zero." The action was recorded as approved.
Following the vote the chair adjourned the flood control district meeting and called the jail district meeting to order.
There were no ordinances, resolutions, or budget items discussed during the flood control district portion of the session; the meeting record shows routine procedural items were handled via the consent agenda. No public comments or substantive debates on policy were made during this portion of the meeting.
