Warren County approves five-year food procurement agreement with New York State DOCS for correctional facility

County staff noted the proposed five-year total of $185,293, down from $196,000 under the previous agreement, and explained that prices fluctuate at the state level. Because DOCS provides state contract rates, the county was not required to run a separate competitive purchasing process for this agreement.
Supervisor Strainer moved to approve the five-year agreement; Supervisor O'Neill seconded. The board approved the contract by voice vote. The county will monitor state-level price changes and may return to the board if adjustments are necessary.
