Students’ art, county quilt and Tag Art program highlighted; Kids Tag Art raises $34,000 this year

The Kids Tag Art coordinator presented the program’s results: the 11th year of the program raised over $34,000 this year for art education in Columbia County and a cumulative $358,000 since the program began. The coordinator thanked sponsors and noted the program distributes funds to art teachers across the district; First Federal was cited as the platinum sponsor this year with a $5,000 donation.
Student winners from each elementary school were called forward by school for recognition and to receive the sponsored tag art items.
