"We serve almost 29,000 people in 2025," Manderson said, underscoring service volume across Metrocrest’s full service area.
Metrocrest said Coppell clients have increased (staff estimated roughly 70 additional Coppell residents in the last fiscal year and projected more) and reaffirmed a funding request of $196,625 — the same dollar amount provided by the city in the prior year. Council members praised Metrocrest and described hands‑on volunteer experiences; several asked for annual reports and the organization left printed annual reports for distribution.
No formal vote on Metrocrest’s FY2027 request occurred at the May 12 meeting; the request was presented as part of the city’s budget and partner funding conversations.
