Fremont County approves subdivision, extends juvenile diversion sub‑award and accepts ambulance payments

Planning Director Steve Baumann presented the Wind River Wings & Wildlife Subdivision, a proposal to divide a 6.42-acre parcel southeast of the Hwy 789 and Mortimore Lane intersection into four lots ranging from approximately 1.0 to 2.13 acres. The board approved the subdivision by motion, carried unanimously.
Executive Director of Treatment Courts Sage Goff requested an extension of an FDP Sub-award that supports juvenile diversion activities, including sports equipment and transportation to appointments. The board approved an amendment to extend the sub-award through Sept. 30, 2026.
The board also approved Title 25 payments to Ethos Transportation Assistance ($1,429.20) and SageWest Health Care ($33,157.34). In accepting the bills list earlier in the meeting, the commission recorded payment items including a Frontier Ambulance LLC county subsidy of $455,625.99 and multiple large health and insurance items; those bill approvals were part of the accepted bills list.
Other items discussed in the meeting included a quarterly update from Priority Ambulance and an IT‑support discussion with Traveling Computers Inc.; no further board actions on those items are recorded in the minutes.
