The Cameron County commissioners unanimously approved the meeting minutes of April 2, 2026, as presented during their April 16 session.
Clerk’s correspondence noted receipt of the final order of tax appeal for Marc J. Fruth from the county Board of Assessment Appeals. The board said it is waiting for final letters from Assessment before proceeding with any tax refund to the owner. David J. Reed requested to review the tax appeal final order and Commissioner Herzing offered the document for Reed’s review.
Commissioner Moate moved to adjourn at 11:50 a.m.; Commissioner Zucal seconded the motion, and the board voted in favor. The next regular commissioners meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Conference Room at the Cameron County Courthouse.
