Planning staff presented application 20250620 for a certificate of appropriateness to reface a double-sided monument sign at 7480 East Main Street for Comfort Health Care Agency and recommended approval with conditions, including repainting the sign post and notifying staff within six months of completion.
The board noted the applicant did not appear. Norm Bruske moved to table the item until later in the meeting; the motion was seconded and the roll-call poll resulted in the item being tabled so the board could continue other business and return to it later. Mister Benner recorded a 'no' vote on the motion to table.
Later the board formally moved to table the item to the next regularly scheduled meeting on Jan. 15, 2026, and the motion passed on roll call. Staff said the applicant had been notified and that the city’s code does not require applicants to attend hearings, although staff typically suggests attendance.
