The Reynoldsburg Planning and Zoning Board voted Feb. 5, 2026 to adopt proposed amendments to its board rules, which were last updated in 2022. Staff member Miss Bauthier told the board there were three proposed changes and recommended adoption.
Miss Bauthier summarized the amendments as minor formatting and font updates, adding a line clarifying meeting exceptions for the first meeting in January and July at the board's discretion, and changing the deadline for applications from 14 days to 21 days prior to the meeting date because staff requires a 21‑day lead time for applications. "At the last meeting, we went over it. There are 3 changes proposed," Miss Bauthier said.
Chair moved to adopt the amended rules as submitted; Ms. Barnhart seconded the motion. Staff called the roll and multiple members answered 'Yes'; the board adopted the amended rules that evening.
The adoption completes the required second-step vote after the board reviewed the draft at a prior meeting. Staff will implement the new 21‑day application deadline in the board's application intake and inform applicants of the updated timeline.
