Tim, introduced as the planning department point of contact, reported $4,700 in permit fees for April and listed multiple permit types issued recently, including fencing, remodels, electrical upgrades and a new home for Moe Gonzalez. Tim also described an enforcement action involving use of property without a certificate of occupancy and said staff are working with Scott Reeser on permitting-process improvements.

Board members discussed that streets would not be closed and agreed the organizer should coordinate with the police department; the Chair offered to put the organizer in contact with the new police chief and report back to the Board of Works at a future meeting.
