Lancaster council approves opioid settlement participation, $150,000 water asset plan and fire-station design RFQ

Council also passed Ordinance Temporary 37-25 to establish a new permanent right-of-way along Arbor Valley Drive and acquire an easement for a water main in connection with the new Lancaster High School project; Ms. Tener moved the ordinance and Mr. Ailes seconded; the motion carried 10-0.
The meeting concluded with routine committee updates, liquor-license notices from the Ohio Division of Liquor Control and a motion to pay bills. Council scheduled its next regular session for Sept. 22, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.
