Addison, a junior who qualified for the upcoming Meet of Champions, told the board competing at that level “has been an amazing opportunity.” Coaches and principals highlighted both students’ academic standing and multi‑sport participation.
The board also recognized district retirees and staff. A district presenter read names and years of service — collectively 168.5 years — and many board members offered personal thanks and best wishes. Several retirees were noted as planning to return in a limited capacity next year.
