Ms. Tener deferred to City Engineer Shonk, who explained Temp Ord #52-25. Shonk said American Electric Power (AEP) intends to upgrade access to its substation at the end of Fair Avenue by installing a cul-de-sac to replace the dead-end street. A Planning Commission code variance has already been granted and the company will grant an easement to the City to allow public use of the turnaround as a public turnaround.
The ordinance was introduced for committee consideration and placed on the reading schedule; no final easement transfer or construction work occurred at this meeting.
