Mr. Dietz of LDOT briefed the Finance Committee on the department’s response to the recent snowstorm and reported total expenditures of $67,000 for labor, salt and brine. The committee recorded this departmental update in its minutes for Dec. 15, 2025.
Separately, committee members discussed Temp Ord. 74-25, which contains proposed changes that would re-arrange the five Council Committees. The minutes note that the options under Temp Ord. 74-25 depend on how voting proceeds at the regular council meeting; no committee vote on the proposal is recorded in the Finance Committee minutes.
The meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.; the minutes record that the adjournment motion was made by Mr. Ailes and seconded by Mr. Sollie, but the committee minutes do not include a vote tally. The minutes were prepared and submitted by Finance Chair Mr. Schoonover.
