Following that action, Crites moved to appoint Wolfinger as secretary. The minutes record that Crites and Rotkis voted “yes” on the secretary motion; the written record is unclear about the full roll call and the sequencing of the second. The minutes also state that Ms. Rotkis and Mr. Wolfinger will work with former Civil Service Commission chair Tom Hammer to be trained in their roles.
Attendees listed in the minutes included Mayor Don McDaniel; Service Safety Director Carrie Woody; Civil Service Commission members Michael Crites, Karen Rotkis and Robert (Bob) Wolfinger; Police Chief Nick Snyder; Assistant Law Director Mitch Harden; and Human Resources Coordinator Danielle Williams, who prepared the minutes.
