The applicant told the commission the kiosk is roughly 2.5 feet by 1.5 feet and 5.5 feet high and that the use expects up to five visitors per day, operating roughly between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Planning staff (Dan Collin) said the only staff concern was the kiosk's location within the setback; the recommended conditions require the kiosk be relocated outside the setback and that the applicant coordinate with the Central Nevada Health District for food‑service guidance.
Applicants raised a separate issue: an emailed invoice asking for a $5,500 wire transfer. Staff said that was not required by the county and asked the applicants to forward the suspicious email so staff could pass it to the sheriff's office. Commissioner Jeff Goings confirmed the applicants had read and accepted the recommended conditions before the commission voted to approve SUP26‑7 (vote recorded as passing).
