Owner updates commission on demolition and design plans for 955 Lincoln Ave.

At the Sept. 17 meeting of the Historic Lancaster Commission, property owner Jennifer Theller updated commissioners on CA-00552, the demolition and parking proposal for 955 Lincoln Ave.
Theller said she has met with an architect and the architect is preparing floor plans; she is also looking into different funding sources. She told the commission the proposed exterior will match the current style of the building. Theller asked whether she would need to submit a new application if more than 90 days pass. Mitch Harden replied that the application had been tabled at the applicant’s request and the 90-day clock is not currently running.
Theller said she will keep the commission informed as she continues to work with the architect. No vote or change to the application status was taken at the meeting; the item remains under the applicant’s control for future updates.
