Studio RPV included a series of public-service announcements reminding peninsula residents that distracted driving, street racing and impaired driving are dangerous and urging safer choices.
One PSA emphasized that a single moment of distraction can change lives and urged drivers to pull over if they need to use a phone. Another stressed common causes of speeding—running late, arguments and intoxication—and urged drivers to "leave early" and "slow down, RPV."
A separate PSA focused on e-bike safety: riders were advised not to ride on sidewalks, to obey stop signs and signals, and to always wear a helmet. The segment said many e-bikes can reach up to 20 miles per hour and recommended riding on the street where appropriate and never using a phone while riding.
Both PSAs were produced in partnership with local law-enforcement stations and RPVTV; hosts directed viewers to city resources for additional safety information.
