During Old Business the Lancaster Parks staff told commissioners they have a signed contract with 2LMN for work at Bower's Park and are ready to proceed. Superintendent Steve Gayfield said staff will conduct a drone survey once snow melts to determine how far Ohio Operating Engineers advanced their work and to inform next steps.
Gayfield told the board that the Ohio Operating Engineers’ equipment remains on site and that he is working with Assistant Law Director Mitch Harden to draft a letter to end that relationship and arrange removal of the equipment. The board agreed there was no further discussion at this meeting but instructed staff to keep the item on Old Business for a future update.
The Bower's Park contract signing marks a transition from negotiation to implementation; staff plan to complete the drone survey and report findings to the board at a subsequent meeting.
