Engineering update: dredging complete at Lake Panorama pond; MS4 and drainage work pending

Panorama Village — At its Sept. 19 meeting, Panorama Village officials received an engineering update from Travis Walker of Bleyl Engineering detailing recent and upcoming infrastructure work.
Walker reported Bullock Construction completed dredging of the Lake Panorama sedimentation pond following earlier May storm events and provided the mayor an estimate to install sheet piling to protect the pond access drive; Bullock has not been authorized to proceed. Bleyl also said the city’s TPDES permit renewal has been received and is valid through 2029.
Bleyl summarized a two‑hour seminar on the new MS4 system and told the council the 2024 MS4 permit application is due Feb. 11, 2025; the firm will prepare a proposal for the required work in the coming months. Bleyl also noted LJA submitted an updated Woodlands Hills drainage submittal in September and that some items remain outstanding in their review. In addition, Bleyl is preparing a survey request and proposal to reroute a drainage swale from Blush Hill through Hanover Lane.
