He said staff obtained three quotes and that the Viking Coca‑Cola contribution would fund the purchase with any remaining costs covered from parks operational funds. Council approved both the vending agreement and the scoreboard purchase (each passed by roll call with 6 ayes, 0 nos).
Klein said in‑house crews would handle installation with help from utilities and public works and that the scoreboards would improve usability for tournament play and youth programming.
