Lakewood Arts Commission sets ground rules, introduces new members and previews retreat activities

Commission members discussed logistics for future meetings, including possible use of the city’s public-art funds for purchases to hang in City Hall; staff said City Council has not finalized purchasing authority and the commission will address policy at a future meeting.
The meeting closed with reminders about completing scoring forms for artists and submitting votes by email if absent.
