The Little Egg Harbor School District unveiled a new district logo and branding guide during the meeting, presenting the mark chosen after more than 500 votes from staff, students and community members.
Chrystal Gerson, who led the branding project, reviewed the color palettes, font hierarchy (Montserrat), school-specific logos, and letterhead templates that will include school names and phone numbers. She noted the chosen logo received roughly 46% of the vote in the community poll. The rollout includes color hex/RGB codes for vendors, grayscale and black versions of the logo, and guidance for using the district and school marks across communications and merchandise.
Gerson emphasized branding as more than a logo, describing consistent fonts, colors and templates as a way to build trust and clarity in district communications. The board and attendees expressed approval of the design and asked about spirit wear and other collateral that can be produced from the guide.
