Inland wetlands application for On The Lane truck parking tabled to April 22

The Inland Wetlands portion of the meeting considered a newly filed application (file 26‑03) for a proposed truck parking terminal at 53 On The Lane. Town engineering staff described an existing large diameter culvert and an eroded outfall area, and recommended restorative work and a stormwater trench to bring runoff into a controlled system.
Town engineer Doug Wilson told commissioners the work will occur in the upland review area, will include a stormwater trench and outfall repairs, and that the gravel area on the site appears to have been placed without prior approvals. Staff said stormwater calculations should begin from the grass area that predated the gravel and that future conversions of gravel/millings parking areas to pavement should be treated as already paved for stormwater design purposes.
Given outstanding plan revisions and the need for stormwater calculations and narrative revisions, Commissioner Christopher Turini moved to table file 26‑03 to the commission's April 22 meeting; the motion passed by voice vote. Staff and the applicant were directed to supply updated materials before the next hearing.
