On finance and operations the board approved a purchase order recommendation to Prime Results LLC for seal coating and parking lot work and authorized ordering two 2027 Ford E450 cutaway vans with liftgates for the food service department for a total of $135,718 to be paid from food service funds. The board accepted donations totaling about $21,820.63 supporting athletics and other programs and noted additional in‑kind and equipment gifts reported for information.
Human resources reported a roster of retirements effective at various dates in 2026 and 2027, including classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, building managers, and administrators. The retirements list was approved by the board; administration said the early notice allows HR to recruit and plan assignments for the coming year.
Late in the meeting the board moved into closed session under MCL 15.268(8)(e) to consult with legal counsel regarding pending litigation; trustees voted by roll call to enter closed session. The board returned to open session and adjourned.
