Lawrence County commissioners approve routine warrants, minutes and small budget transfers; no public comment

Under fiscal and contractual business, the controller reported three warrant registers (dated Feb. 13, Feb. 18 and Feb. 20). Dan said he had reviewed the registers and moved to approve; Vanessa recorded affirmative votes and the motion carried. The board then approved the Feb. 17 meeting minutes after a motion and second; the recorded votes were affirmative.
Written correspondence included an annual notice from WebTech Corporation in Grove City related to the Pennsylvania Storage Tank Spill Prevention Act. The letter, from Justin Soel, attached a downstream notification list and material inventory and stated there were no releases of regulated substances during the last calendar year. Four Lawrence County municipalities named in the notice were Slippery Rock Township, Perry Township, Wayne Township and Scott Township; the board agreed to place the letter on file.
Two small budget transfers were approved: Domestic Relations requested a $50 transfer from materials and supplies to association dues, and Judge Amod’s office requested a $200 transfer from temporary part‑time wages to postage. The controller raised no objections and the motions carried.
The board announced it will reconvene for its regular weekly public meeting at 10:00 a.m. on March 3 and noted a county conservation district meeting on March 4 at noon in Shannick Township. No members of the public attended for the public‑comment periods; the board adjourned after a voice vote.
