Fairfield trustees approve resignations, hires and stipends for 2024–25

The superintendent presented three HR exhibits: Exhibit 1 (certified resignations and terminations), Exhibit 2A/2B (professional certified educator hires), and Exhibit 3A/3B (district stipends). A motion by Miss Green (seconded by Dr Harris) to accept the superintendent's recommendations carried by a raised-hand vote; the transcript records seven members in favor.
During discussion, Miss Harrison raised concerns that middle-school stipends were very low and asked staff and administration to review the stipend schedule before the next year. The chair and superintendent said they would look into possible changes and return with options.
Trustees recorded approval of the personnel items as presented; the hires and stipend schedules were accepted pending any follow-up staff review.
