Eddy County awards multiple contracts for flood-district work, roofing, locksmith and annual audit

Adrianne Granger, procurement administrator, presented results of competitive solicitations and staff recommendations for multiple procurements. The board approved the following awards by unanimous vote:
- IFB 25-08 (Excavation & dirt work for maintenance at Eagle Draw Flood District) to Penasco Gravel Corp.; - IFB 25-09 (Vegetation management at Eagle Draw Flood District) to The Bugman Weed and Pest Control; - RFP 25-11 (On-call roofing services for Eddy County) to Hamilton Roofing Company of Carlsbad Inc.; - RFP 25-12 (Locksmith services for Eddy County) to ALK Inc.; - RFP 25-13 (Annual audit services) to Carr, Riggs & Ingram.
Granger said the recommended firms met mandatory specifications and were selected based on evaluation criteria including pricing and overall score. Each award was recorded as a timed exhibit.
Why it matters: the awards authorize work and services affecting county maintenance, facility services and fiscal oversight; vendors will execute contracts per terms recorded in the solicitation files and exhibits.
