Presenter calls AI training a 'game changer' as SOUTH TEXAS ISD rolls out new curriculum

A presenter at a SOUTH TEXAS ISD meeting said the district spent the past two weeks developing a new curriculum aligned to state standards and the district’s high-achievement expectations. The presenter said the training emphasized both concept mastery and strategies to increase student engagement.

The presenter said professional development came from two providers—Curriculum Management Systems and Lead Forward Magic School AI—and included on-site trainers who returned after initial sessions to answer questions and help teachers implement the materials. “We had the training and then we had the trainers on site to help us if we had questions or if we needed clarification,” the presenter said.
