The San Felipe-Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District board on Aug. 11 approved a contract and purchase order not to exceed $70,000 with the county elections officer to provide election services for the Nov. 4, 2025 bond election.
Administration presented the contract under the authority of Section 31.092A of the Texas Election Code, explaining the procurement covers costs and services the county elections office provides to conduct the bond election. The contract is funded from Fund 199 (general funds), and the amount not to exceed $70,000 was included as part of the board recommendation.
Sandra Hernandez presented the item and recommended board approval. The board moved, seconded and approved the contract by unanimous vote.
The action authorizes district staff to finalize and issue the purchase order and to coordinate logistics with election officials in the county for the Nov. 4 election.
