The presenter said the pin honors staff who commit to being “all in” for every student and credited Dr. Anongo with ensuring the district has the information it needs to monitor progress. “We believe in assessment for learning and in order to have assessment for learning, we have to know where every kid is at all times and we have to be able to know how to respond to that,” the presenter said, adding that Dr. Anongo and his team make sure staff have that information every day.
The presenter highlighted Dr. Anongo’s district-level leadership and his support for campus teams and teachers, saying he “goes all in for district level leadership, campuses, principles, teachers.” The presenter praised his enthusiasm and daily dedication, saying he always works with a smile and that the district is “truly blessed to have him as a member of the MISD family and our team.”
Audience applause followed the recognition. The presenter closed by thanking Dr. Anongo for his work for staff and students: “We so appreciate you and you are so deserving of this award.”
