Council members asked for clarification during the discussion; Elliot confirmed the substance of the rates is unchanged and that the correction was limited to the tabular presentation of the rates. The presiding official thanked "BD" for identifying the error during review.
After brief discussion, a council member moved to approve the ordinance amending Chapter 106 (Utilities) of the city code to correct the water and sewer rate tables. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously. The ordinance states the corrected tables are effective Oct. 1, 2024.
