Council members discussed hauling scrap metal, pick‑up logistics and whether to schedule a community cleanup day or a summer program.
Clerk Tammie Morgan reminded the council of the existing purchase policy: items under $500 do not require prior council approval, while purchases over $500 must be approved by the council. "This $500 approval thing… under $500, you don't have to get approval; over $500 has to be approved by the council," she said. Snowville EMS also raised procurement questions for supplies that can exceed that threshold; the council agreed to treat necessary medical supplies as an operational priority and to seek pragmatic arrangements for timely ordering.
Council acted on budget items: a motion to accept listed expenses (including Rocky Mountain Power charges) passed with a majority vote. The meeting closed with a motion to adjourn.
