Commissioners approve minutes, adopt trash-fee memorandum and hold executive session

At the May 21 meeting the Heard County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the April 16 work session and regular meeting minutes. The board also unanimously adopted a memorandum to Building & Zoning proposing increases to trash permit fees and related regulatory changes; the memorandum was moved by Commissioner Larry Hammond and seconded by Commissioner Iris Harris.
Chairman Lee Boone requested an executive session to discuss possible litigation; on a motion by Commissioner Hammond with a second by Commissioner Perry the board entered executive session at 7:34 p.m. The board returned to open session at 8:01 p.m. and then voted unanimously to adjourn at 8:02 p.m.
No contract awards or budget items were adopted during the session.
