County views software demo to track roads, bridges and fleet maintenance

Levi Hornsby of iWorQ Systems presented a remote demonstration of software the company says can track road- and-bridge assets, projects, expenditures and fleet maintenance. The demonstration was given over Webex and focused on capabilities for asset inventories, project tracking and maintenance records.
Commissioner Duke W. Gilman asked questions about how the software would integrate with county workflows and support tracking of maintenance and vehicle status. Staff discussed the potential for improved record-keeping and reporting if the county adopted the system; no procurement decision or motion to purchase software was made at the work session.
