The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted 3–0 April 22 to adopt an ordinance changing the zoning for a Dudley Township parcel at 6539 E. Dublin Pike (parcel 002-00821-00) from Residential (R1) to General Business (GB).
The ordinance (Zone Change Proposal No. 484, Case B: 2288) was presented to the board after a recommendation by the Henry County Planning Commission. Susan Huhn moved to approve the ordinance and Joe Wiley seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
The adopted ordinance instructs the county zoning administrator to make the change on the Dudley Township zone map and to note the date of passage. The legal description included in Exhibit A describes the parcel as approximately 2.05 acres and notes it is subject to the right-of-way for East Dublin Pike and recorded easements. The transcript identifies the parcel owner as New Structures LLC and lists the parcel ID as 002-00821-00.
The Planning Commission resolution that preceded the board action directed the commission secretary to transmit the recommendation to the Board of Commissioners pursuant to the Indiana Code. The ordinance text included the statutory and exhibit language required for a zone-map amendment; no competing motions or recorded dissent appear in the minutes or transcript.
The board’s action is effective upon passage; the zoning administrator is authorized to record the map change and the date of approval as stated in the ordinance.
