The Planning Commission voted to approve a resolution permitting Commissioner Yasmin Mohajer to miss more than 25% of regular Planning Commission meetings in 2026 to accommodate medical disability leave and any family leave.
Dana (staff) explained the item as a routine resolution to authorize extended absences for Commissioner Mohajer while she is on leave. "It's really just your commission approving a resolution to allow Commissioner Mohajer to miss more than 25% of the meetings due to her leave of absence," the staff member said.
A commissioner moved that the planning commission grant Commissioner Yasmin Mohajer permission to miss more than 25% of regular planning commission meetings for the 2026 calendar year to accommodate her medical disability leave and any family leave; another commissioner seconded the motion. The clerk conducted a roll call and the chair announced the motion passes.
The resolution provides administrative permission for the commissioner’s extended absence; it does not change commission membership or necessitate an interim appointment, and the transcript records no public comment on the item.
